This is the inaugural broadcast of Radio Free Vancouver, an internet radio with periodic broadcast commentaries. Today's date is December 7th, 2016.
In Radio Free Vancouver - Broadcast One the question of the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize is critically appraised in light of the rejection of the FARC-Colombia Peace Treaty by the People of Colombia and the questions of the lack of judicial remedy in the treaty. The latest amendment to the treaty states that parties to the agreement will not face extra-national judicial revue by such bodies as the International Criminal Court (I.C.C.).
As such the 2016 decision of the Oslo Committee is at odds with Norwegian Law, in that Norway is a signatory to the ROME ICC convention.
